Who I Am
I am Vivek Arote, a former Customs Officer with over 9 years of experience in handling international trade, compliance, and cross-border operations. During my tenure, I processed thousands of consignments, audits, and assessments, which gave me a unique insider’s perspective into the common mistakes and challenges businesses face while navigating import–export.
After nearly a decade in government service, I decided to take my experience beyond the Customs desk and help entrepreneurs, professionals, and students succeed in the world of global trade. To sharpen my business acumen, I completed the Global Business Management program at IIM Calcutta, where I deepened my understanding of international markets, supply chains, and business strategy.
Today, I combine practical compliance expertise with global business knowledge to mentor and coach people who want to build profitable, sustainable import–export businesses. My sessions are designed to be practical, simple, and result-oriented — with tools, templates, and real-life case studies, not just theory.
Over the years, I’ve trained and guided 100+ MSMEs, startups, and professionals across industries. Many of them have gone on to launch their first exports successfully, save lakhs in penalties, or secure new job opportunities in logistics, supply chain, and trade. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing my learners grow with confidence and clarity.
